First look at Dolphin community portal

I gotta very strange habbit of testing all the new/avaliable CMS and the Open Source applications avaliable. Last week i got an email from one pf my client asking for help on a new application that he installed on a Unix Server recently. This is how i came to know abt the this Dolphin community creator cms. At the frist look it was kool. So i thought of “why not try and see what’s it”. So started installing….. It has the kool feature like the other CMS web installation. it said it supports both unix and Win systems. But it has a requirment to run cronjobs. SO i opted to install it on a unix server, as i only have a shared hosting a/c. Into the second step of installation, i have to do a lot of tweaking ot the files and folders as i have to change the permissions on it. Took a while for me as it is a long list. Finally the installation is complete and i am ready to ROCK.. So i Went to the admin Section to login to the Admin Panel. Disaster struck………

My admin login does not work. Huuuh.. i have to hack into my Db to change the login for the admin panel. after 30 mins of wasted time… i am able to login to the admin panel. The application is really kool. But if you want to remove their adverts then you need to pay $39/year. I logged out and then i try to log back in to the admin panel, yet again i have the same problem. I don’t want to waste my time on such an aplication that does not even allow me to login. End of Story……
